Royal Baby #3 is a Boy!

An obviously quick piece to let you know of the royal baby’s birth and to see the chart with a brief look beyond…and, of course, a means of offering congratulations to the United Kingdom’s royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Catherine, and their children George and Charlotte. The baby’s name will be revealed on April 25.

Virgin and Child, ca 1400–20, South Netherlandish or French                            The unusual depiction of the Christ child both nursing and blessing conveys a domestic tenderness that became increasingly evident in the cult of the Virgin. Originally painted, such statuettes would have been incorporated into small shrines for devotion within the home. In many respects this charming figure is a micro version of the great work attributed to Claus de Werve (d. 1439), a Netherlandish sculptor working in Burgundy.

Although the newest prince’s arrival will soon be overshadowed by his royal uncle Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle, for now the little one–complete with all of the fanfare of the official announcements–will have the blessings and joy of the nation–apparently on what’s known in the UK as St. George’s Day.

Okay, so I’ve stretched it as much as I can. On with the chart of this new royal cherub!

The newest royal was born on April 23, 2018 at 11:01 AM in Paddington, England. I noticed a sense of quieter interest with this as the third child in the line of succession to the throne, from Prince Charles to Prince William, followed by Prince George, Prince Charlotte, and then the newest baby born to the royal couple. Nevertheless, the out-of-sign Sun-Uranus conjunction in the 10th house with Mercury conjunct the MC from the 10th house while Chiron forms the conjunction to the Midheaven (MC) from the 9th points to his being comfortably in the news.

A Resonant Blooming Undecaquartisextile forms from the Venus-Uranus semisextile (30°) expanding to the resolution undecaquartisextile (165°) point falling in the 5th house at 13 Scorpio 36, in square to his Moon-North Node conjunction. The mere 10-minute partile square as well to his second house cusp makes me wonder whether he might have to learn some lessons about values, just as Prince Harry had to learn. But his parents are likely to be a very strong influence in his life, quite obviously by his Moon-ruled Cancer rising and his Moon in Sun-ruled Leo!

His chart reveals an evenly balanced Eastern and Western hemisphere, an evenly balanced Northern and Southern hemisphere and a 2nd and 4th balanced quadrant dominance, indicating the strength of the family as well as his knowing his place as a royal–and even if he has to learn those lessons I mentioned above, it seems as if he will be closer to that perfect child we would all love to have while periodically needing to be reined (reigned!) in from time to time, which begs the question: How do the royals discipline their offspring to present the gracious and compassionate side they do?

The balance of above and below the horizon also stands out to me. While his first house Moon implies that he will show some public emotion, for the most part, it seems as if he will balance how much to play close to the chest and how much he’ll be likely to reveal to the world as the lovable youngest of this royal couple. I’m inclined to bet he’ll focus on making sure not to reveal sides placing any of the royals in a truly negative light. Mars and Pluto are now conjunct in the 6th house of health, habits and service (work), reflecting his future willingness to serve in the nation’s military as his father and uncle have done through the years.

This view is brief. I’m on the run again today, but I wanted to share these quick views as I try to do with the UK’s royal family.

Until next time…

Namaste, I love you,
